Costco & Chaos

Today my boss told me to go ahead and leave at 4:30 b/c it was so slow.  I called Mom to see what the plan was, and she said she was headed to Costco to get some things.  Since it was on my way home, I told her I would stop by to shop w/ her so she could put stuff in my trunk b/c hers was full w/ Christmas presents.  We both ended up spending way more that we had planned on, which is always the case at Costco.  Look at my cart (bottom right hand corner) compared to Mom’s cart and 1/2 of her stuff is still on the conveyor belt.

We had to leave so I could go get Autumn from daycare and then we went to Mom’s house to unload the groceries.  Mom found this cute sign at a craft store earlier today.  Isn’t this so funny b/c it’s so true?  Love it!

We ate dinner and after dinner we were all in the living room sitting around talking and laughing.  This picture cracks me up b/c there is SO MUCH going on.  Dad was leaning back against the chair to make room for the kids to crawl underneath him.  Jon was grabbing Andrew from the arms to keep him from crawling away and Autumn was pulling him from the other side to help him through.  Then Mom was yelling b/c Dad kept digging the back of his head into her leg when he leaned back to make a bridge w/ his body and she was saying how bad it was hurting.

Then Autumn wanted in on all the fun and Dad let her lick his head, which is one of her favorite things to do for some weird reason.  I am so glad that I belong to such a fun and happy and close knit family.  We truly enjoy each other’s company.  Autumn & I didn’t stay very late b/c we had to start packing.  I thought we were going to be moving next Friday, but the lady called and told us she is all moved out already and that we can start moving in tomorrow if we want!  SWEET!
