Autumn dressed herself this morning and wanted me to take a picture of her by the fence. She looks like she’s picking a wedgie here, but she’s just trying to hide a piece of toast behind her back so it’s not in the picture. Plus, she was in a silly mood and wouldn’t do a “princess smile” for me, so I just took what I could get. She insists on wearing this cute little white jacket even though it’s too small for her. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, b/c my closet is full of clothes that I am hanging on to even though they are too small for me.
After work/school we went over to Mom & Dad’s house b/c Mom had made some really good clam chowder. It hit the spot b/c it was rainy and dreary today and days like that just call for clam chowder (although I pick out the clams b/c I think they have the texture of rubber erasers). After we ate, we watched DWTStars b/c Mom had recorded it last night but hadn’t seen it yet. I sat and worked on my blog while she watched it. Autumn kept asking Papa to get up and dance w/ her during the songs, and since he’s the BEST PAPA IN THE WORLD, he obliged. She was having him spin her around on his shoulder and then said she wanted to “plank on Papa.” What a kid.
This was during one of the slow songs and she was having Papa twirl her around. I love how her hair looks like a wave of brown coming towards me. They danced to pretty much every song, and then it was time to head on home. We baked our last batch of $1 Halloween cookies that Mimi had gotten us (they were ghosts this time instead of cats) and then I put Autumn to bed. I was going to work on my MPLife, but I was too tired, so I just vegged out and watched TV w/ Nick. I didn’t stay up tonight to watch Whose Line and opted to go to bed instead. I really dislike/hate daylight savings. It’s dark by the time I pick Autumn up from “college”. YUCK!
