Today after work/school, we went over to Mom & Dad’s and Mom whipped together a meal super fast b/c I had visiting teaching at 6:30 (but I had to call and tell the lady I visit teach that I was going to be a little late). We scarfed down some dinner and I had Autumn come w/ me and she was my visiting teaching partner since my real visiting teaching partner hasn’t responded to any emails I’ve sent. Oh, well. Autumn makes a great partner and I told her if she was good then we would stop and get an ice cream cone on the way home. I went to my FAVORITE website for Visiting Teaching handouts and printed one off about Pres. Uchtdorf’s “Forget Me Not” talk and shared that.
If you have not heard of his talk, do yourself a HUGE favor and go HERE to read it or HERE to listen to it. So inspiring and uplifting! Autumn was a good girl during the visit, so after we left we stopped at McDonald’s and got a $1 cone. We came home and enjoyed our treat and watched some Dancing With The Stars and then I put her to bed at 9:00. I couldn’t get enough kisses tonight from her and just love her to pieces! I am such a lucky Mama.
