Unpacking & More Unpacking

Monday was pretty much the same as today.  Just work, school, and then we went to Mom & Dad’s house for dinner and so Autumn could play w/ Andrew and I could spend time w Lexie & Baby Jacob.  After that, we stopped by the old house to get another load of stuff to bring to the new house.  I put Autumn to bed and then started going through boxes.  I did these cross-stitches a long time ago and have held on to them for years and years w/ the plan to frame and hang them.  Well, as you can see that never happened.  So, I am taking a picture of them to keep as a memory and am going to give them to Goodwill so that someone who will use them can enjoy them.  I have a feeling I’m going to be doing a lot of that…taking a picture to keep as a reminder and then letting things go.

This was another one I did when I was going through my bunny collecting phase.  I love to cross-stitch b/c it gives me something to do and feel productive while I sit and watch TV.  Plus, I have something to show for it at the end.  I haven’t cross-stitched in a long time and should take it up again.

The kids talked Papa into making his usual treat for them.  They get so excited to pull their chairs up to the counter, help pour in the ice, and then both plug their ears when Papa turns on the machine.  It’s funny how they go through the same routine every time.  After our treat, Autumn & I had to head home to get another load and do more unpacking.  It will be so nice to have everything in it’s place.
