This morning Jill & I got up and went to the 9:00 ward together since we were going to miss their usual 1:00 ward. The talks were really really good. One thing that really stood out to me was how we need to take care of the 1 lost sheep, but also not to neglect the 99. If we take care of the 99 sheep, then it will be more enticing for the 1 to return. Anyways, as soon as we got home, I jumped in Rufio’s car and we drove up to get Aunt Jeri. She came out and we drove up to Aunt Jana’s. She & Keith had the yummiest meal ready for us. They had BBQ’d ribs, BBQ chicken, corn on the cob, bleu cheese salad, fruit, and fruit dip. It is always so fun to watch Jill & Jana eat their food b/c they enjoy it so much.
We had to get a picture of Rufio w/ her girls. We were sad my Mom couldn’t be there to laugh and talk w/ us. Aunt Jana had recorded the Olympics last night and this morning so we watched that and fast forwarded through all the commercials. However, we saw the commercial where the monkey is hanging from the rings and we had to rewind it and watch it. We were laughing so hard over that one that we had tears rolling down our cheeks.
4 hours later, we decided we’d better start heading home. Jana jumped up and said we couldn’t go yet, b/c they had dinner for us too! I had no idea she & Keith were going to feed us 2 meals. But, she insisted so we stayed and had hamburgers and chips w/ a 7 layer dip. I had to get a picture of these cool old wooden puzzles. I remember playing w/ these exact puzzles as a kid. The food and company were so amazing tonight and we didn’t want to leave but had to get home.
We stopped at the cemetery to see Jessica’s headstone. I thought this was such a sweet picture of Jeri & Rufio.
This was on the back of Jessica’s headstone b/c she used to say it all the time. I think it’s a great saying. After we dropped Jeri off, Rufio & I drove straight to Jason & Nicole’s to pick up Autumn.
These are some pictures he had taken earlier and sent to me. He said Autumn & Jewelsy were joined at the hip and had so much fun playing dress up and then doing fashion walks down the hallway.
Autumn wanted to go see the big windmills, so they drove over by them and Jason got this picture.
Jason has to go back to work tomorrow, so I went and got Autumn tonight. I had to get a picture of all the Kemble Kids before we left. I know this has been so good for Autumn to build relationships and create memories w/ her Dad & siblings.
Autumn & Jewelsy wanted to show me their diva catwalk moves. They crack me up. We didn’t stay for long b/c Rufio was waiting out in the car. We came back to Aunt Jill’s and relaxed and watched TV for a while before we called it a night.
