Spider & Lice Eggs

This morning we got up and Dad said we needed to come outside to see Clara, the zipper spider.  She had laid a HUGE egg sac and is visibly smaller than she was yesterday.  She’s lucky we like zipper spiders, or else we would have to squash her egg sac.

We had breakfast and then decided to have Family Home Evening.  Autumn & Andrew both led the music and then Mimi did the testimony glove w/ Andrew.

Everyone hurried and got ready for church b/c Mom & Dad’s ward starts at 11:00.  Mom & Lexie looked so pretty.  I especially love Mom’s polka dot skirt.  She is looking like such a skinny minnie.

Once they left, Autumn & I went home so we could get ready for church.  Church was really good and I also got a lot of compliments on my haircut.

We went over to Mom & Dad’s after church and had dinner.  We were sad that Lexie & Jon & Jackson had already left.  I was snuggling w/ Autumn on the couch after dinner and noticed a few small lice nits in her hair!  I almost started crying b/c I didn’t want to do another treatment and comb through her hair for 3 hours.  But, Mom said we had to do it or the problem would never get better.  So, I broke the Sabbath and went to WalMart and bought another lice treatment, brush, and combs.  There must be lots of kids w/ lice b/c WalMart was all out of the Equate lice kit so I had to get this one.

Autumn hates these treatments as much as we do.  At least she gets to watch a movie or play on the iPad while Mom & I comb through her hair.  Mom & I got a system worked out this time where she would section off the hair and I would comb through it.  It went so much faster this time.  I went home and sprayed the car, Autumn’s car seat, her seat belt, the rug in her bedroom, etc.  I also did a bunch of laundry.  UGH!
