Swimming & Crafts

Tonight after dinner the kids wanted to swim, and I realized I haven’t been swimming in a month!  The summer is quickly slipping away and I need to capitalize on what few days we have left to swim.  We had fun playing games and just enjoying the pool.

We finally went in when it started to get dark.  Mom & Dad went to Scott’s reception and I stayed home w/ the kids.  Mom had gotten this fun activity for the kids at the $1 Store.  I thought they would lose interest after a few minutes, but to my surprise they both kept going until both of their pictures were done.

It was a thin cardboard w/ these pictures printed on them w/ squares where raised glitter squares went.  Andrew said he was going to give his to his Dad b/c it was his birthday.

For a treat we had a cut up mango, and it was SO GOOD!  It was perfectly ripe.  We were trying to decide what movie to watch, and of course Andrew wanted an action movie and Autumn wanted a girly movie.  We compromised on A Knight’s Tale.  We only got 1/2 way through it before Mom & Dad got home and I realized it was so late and was time for bed.
