On the drive to work today, I saw this saying on the back of this van and thought that was a good way to start the day.
Mom is so awesome and not only made dinner for us, but also made dinner for all the company over at Mary’s house. Scott (Curt & Mary’s oldest son) is getting married tomorrow, so they have a lot of people to feed. Also, they don’t have enough room for everyone to sleep over there so a few couples are spending the night here. Mary came over to see if Dad could write her a prescription b/c she is so sick. She sounds like death, and needs to get better FAST.
Dad was cute and got out some games to play w/ Andrew. They were playing Battleship and Dad was trying to teach him how to play it. It sounded like they were doing great, so I went over to see how far along they were. Come to find out, Andrew really didn’t know what he was doing and what Dad had on his board was completely different from what Andrew had on his. We got a good laugh out of it, especially b/c one of the spots on one of Andrew’s ships was hanging off the grid. LOL! I sat and helped Andrew for a while so he could get the hang of how it worked. Dad gave us a few “suggestions” on where to call to hit a ship.
Autumn & I left to go pick up pics at Walmart that I had printed off of our trip to Utah. We also got a few groceries while we were there. Then we ran by the $1 Store so we could get an 8x10 and 5x7 frame for the picture of me & the 4 kids. It was a good day.
