Treating Myself To Dinner & 2,000 Indexed Names

P1070566 Mom texted me yesterday towards the end of work and said she & Andrew had gone and gotten Autumn from daycare and they were going to the movies to see Ice Age 4.  Since I had about 30 minutes to myself before my evening meetings started, I treated myself to dinner at Chipotle, b/c I had a hankerin’ & as y’all know…you can’t deny a hankerin’.  I get the same thing every time: a bowl w/ extra rice, black beans, spicy barbacoa meat, corn salsa, sour cream, and cheese.  I was good and only ate 1/2 of it and saved the other 1/2 for lunch tomorrow.

P1070567 After I ate, I went to pick up one of the Laurel’s for our class presidency meeting at Sis. Lee’s house at 6:10.  We got there early and just sat and talked.  Then one of the other members of the presidency texted and said she needed a ride.  So, I drove across town only to find that her Mom had come home and already took her over to Sis. Lee’s house.  So, I trekked back to Sis. Lee’s for our meeting.  At 7:00, the other Young Women showed up for our activity.  We had a party to celebrate indexing 1,000 names in 1,000 hours.  Our girls went above and  beyond and indexed 2,000 names!  They said that the 1940 census is done already.  That’s so neat that they got to take part in that.  One girl did 680 names!

After Sis. Lee handed out prizes, we had some treats and watched the Olympics and just let the girls mingle.  I love how cute she did the treats.  She had dark chocolate doves (red wrappers), milk chocolate doves (blue wrappers), yogurt covered craisins, and cherry sours for the red, white, and blue.  Later on she also brought out a bowl of cut up strawberries and blueberries that we could top w/ whipped cream for more red, white, and blue.  She also had clear plastic cups w/ the bottom 1/2 filled w/ red jell-o and the top 1/2 was blue jell-o that we could top w/ whipped cream.  So cute and clever.

I left at 8:20 so I could go get Autumn at Mom & Dad’s.  Mom said the movie was super cute and that the kids liked the movie (I guess Autumn had already seen it when she was in Utah w/ Jason & Nicole).  Mom was just making the kids mac & cheese b/c they were hungry so I helped her do that and do up the dishes and then after the kids ate, Autumn & I came home.  It was only 9:30, but I was so tired so instead of blogging or working on Project Life like I usually do, I decided to go to bed early.  Autumn & I laid in bed and talked and laughed for a while, and I need to do that more often b/c it is such a good way to bond w/ her.
