Tonight when we were driving home Autumn said, “Mama, can we have a Mommy/Daughter date?” I asked her what type of date she had in mind and she said she wanted to stop at Sonic to get a shake. Usually I’m the one who has to say we should go on a Mommy/Daughter date & spend time together, so I was thrilled that she brought it up completely on her own. So, we stopped at Sonic & got a cream slush. I got the Super Peach Ring flavor & she got Cotton Candy. I wouldn’t get either of those flavors again. We sat & talked for a little bit, but it was really windy and on the cooler side tonight (62 degrees). So, we left & finished our Mommy/Daughter date at home. We watched a little TV & then I went and laid down w/ her for a minute b/c I was so tired. I took about a 30 min nap & then got up to edit pics and work on my Project Life pages & my blog. I put in Last Holiday to have on in the background while I worked. I just LOVE Queen Latifah & LL Cool J in this movie.

It is so sweet that your daughter asked you for a Mommy/Daughter date. It sounds as though you both had a lovely time together. They do grow up so fast...... may you have many more dates with your daughter now and when she is lots older. :)
