No rest for the weary after the huge weekend I had. We got to the hospital early this morning to get Frank all checked in and ready to go for his back surgery. They took him back to get him prepped while I wrangled Alisa in the waiting room. At one point I handed over my phone (which I never do) just to keep her quiet and entertained. She plopped down on the floor against the door and watched her Baby First TV show.
We finally got to go back & see Frank in his pre-op room. It reminded me of his shoulder surgery back in Dec 2017, b/c we were in the same pre-op room. I wish we could have sat there w/ him the whole time before they took him to surgery, but Alisa is just too active and busy. So, we gave him loves and hugs and kisses and left to go home so Alisa could nap and I could work.
The hospital was great and would send me texts with updates as to when they took him back for surgery, how the surgery was going, and when he was out of surgery. We went back to pick him up and take him home. I'm so thankful it all went well even though he is in a lot of pain,
Cute sisters!
Alisa & I went to Target to pick up Frank's medication and she was cracking me up w/ how she was chillaxin' in the shopping cart like she was the Queen of Sheba.
She was able to turn around in the cart even with the safety straps on. She loved getting to see where we were going.
Autumn is so cute w/ Alisa. She was playing w/ her while I caught up on some work and I look over to see a diaper on the outside of Alisa's outfit with a swim diaper on her head. Too funny!
