My heart is so sad today. It's the end of an era because Mom & Dad sold/closed on their house. We have lived here since June of 1997! I LOVED being an Army brat & getting to move every 3 - 4 years. But there was also something so special and great about my parents being in the same home for over 22 years. I'm happy for them b/c they needed to downsize and not have so much yard & house & a pool to take care of & worry about while on their missions. Especially since they're going on another mission in August of next year. But it's sad to think I can't just go over there and swim whenever I want to anymore. It was a WONDERFUL house full of so many great memories. I think I'll still drive by it every once in a while just to see how it looks and relive some of those great times we had here.
Bitters was so happy to have the slide all to herself this morning b/c we were up early. Look at that crazy hair, big belly, and diaper only outfit. She cracks me up.
See, they can get along and be nice to each other for a few minutes at a time.
The girls were acting crazy again this afternoon and making me stressed so we loaded them up in the car (all 3 of them) & took them for a drive. We hoped they would take a nap, and they did but not for very long. It was nice to have Marissa with me this time. We stopped at a cute little drive-thru diner and got some treats just to try them. It was fun and tasty.
This is the end of another era today. Since the ward boundary changes were announced on Sunday, Stephanie & Rachel (the 2 in the middle) are now in another ward. So, our Relief Society presidency is disbanded. We already had a meeting scheduled for tonight to go over lessons and activities coming up, but we decided to still get together and go out for dessert. We talked about how we and our families are dealing with the changes. I love and adore and admire these women so much. It's been so fun to be a part of this presidency. We are all so different and brought different strengths & weaknesses to the table. I learned so much from all 3 of them. I will definitely miss getting to serve with them on a regular basis, but I am happy to know our friendships will never be disbanded.
