Since we aren't supposed to meet in groups more than 25 now, that means normal church is out. So, we got to have church over at Papa & Mimi's house. It was a really special experience.
Mimi played the piano while I led the music.
Frank & Spencer blessed the sacrament and then Nate & Julian passed it. Autumn was asked to give a talk. She shared how important it is to follow the Holy Ghost. She shared her story of when the Holy Ghost prompted her to give the homeless man at Wendy's her hamburger and a pass-along card. She did a wonderful job.
Olivia had also been asked to give a talk. She shared about the Anti-Nephi-Lehies. She also did a great job.
After "church" Mimi had lunch ready for us. Alisa looked so cute in this giraffe dress. I'll have to see if I can find a picture of Autumn wearing it when she was this age.
Before we ate lunch, Mimi had a special present for Spencer. He met w/ the Bishop recently to start getting his mission application together. While she was in Utah, Mimi bought some missionary fabric and made him a special pillowcase.
Awwww! So sweet! We are so proud of him!
All of the kids were more than ready for lunch. We had meatloaf, twice baked potatoes, and cabbage. It was DELICIOUS!
After her afternoon nap, Alisa & I went for a walk. She liked walking in these "popcorn tree petals." It looked like nature's confetti.
Mason took this super up-close picture of Alisa, and I LOVE it!
Tonight after "scripture, prayer, bed" Alisa was "reading" her Book of Mormon and leading the music. She loves to wave her arm around like a music conductor.
