So I forgot to blog about last weekend and it was so fun, that I had to put it here. We had the kids Sunday night through Monday evening. So, we decided to take them to the drive in. Here they are in front of the cars (the people parked next to us couldn't believe we had 4 kids). We even brought the air mattress and blew it up for the kids to lay on. The other people we were parked next to had a little puppy that came over to visit. SO CUTE! Anyways, we watched Pirates 3, and I have to say I wasn't super impressed. It was good, but there was just too much packed into this one. The story line was hard to follow with who was doing what and why. Maybe I just need to watch it later when I don't have 4 kids and a husband to keep track of. But it was still super fun to go and do that. I'm glad they still have drive ins.
Monday we got up and had breakfast and let the kids play outside and then we wanted to get out. So, we went to the International Peace Gardens.
I highly recommend them. They are very well done, it's free, and it was lots of fun to walk around and learn about other countries.
This one's in honor of Foxy Roxi from England.
I was super excited to see they had a pole with Slovenija on it. It says, "May Peace be in Slovenija."
After that, we went to the park. We got some Little Ceasars (can I just put a plug in for them and their hot and ready $5 pizza)!!! LOVE IT! So we just sat on a blankey in the shade and let the kids play. Jewlsey was chasing Justy around and they were just laughing like crazy. Ah, to be young again when life was simple and energy was never ending.
I died laughing when I saw Jewlsey stop to get a drink. She just bent down and was definitely getting a "double gulp" like it says on the cups. She would drink out of one and then out of the other. SO FUNNY!
So, we're sitting there enjoying the day and I'm doing one of my favorite activities...people watching. Some Elders walked by and we offered them some of our pizza, but they were off to do the Lord's work (plus they had just eaten lunch).
So we're just sitting there watching people walk by when all of a sudden, we see this old grandma walking around with a NAKED little boy. And I mean NAKED as in not a stitch of clothing on his body. It was HILARIOUS when they walked by, b/c Justy looked at them and said, "I KNOW you're a boy." What a kid!
I don't know what this face of Jason's is. We have yet to get a cute picture of the 2 of us. Usually it's b/c I'm holding the camera out and taking the pic myself. And Jason just has to always pull faces and be uncooperative. Oh, well. It was a super fun Memorial Day. We then took the kids to the Gateway to meet up with Mindi for the exchange. Good times.

I thought the same thing about Pirates. It was great but too many things going on at the same time. After the movie finished, I turned to a buddy and had him explain half the movie again. That's a bad sign...lol.
Lovin the Flag.....
