Cookies & The Bachelor

IMG_1573 Mom called when I was on my way home from work and said she just needed a quiet evening at home, which I totally understand.  Sometimes all the noise and Autumn’s demands can get overwhelming.  So, Autumn & I came home and made some dinner and then decided to make some No Bake Cookies to take to Bro. Maggart b/c he wasn’t at church on Sunday and has been sick.  Autumn wanted to change into her flower dress and put on her apron.  She was in a cute mood and was evening will to smile for the camera.

IMG_1575What an ensemble…ruby red shoes, pastel flower dress and a zebra apron.  We made the cookies and went to drop them off to Bro. Maggart.  He was just walking out the door so we gave them to him and talked for just a minute and then came home.  I watched Pretty Little Liars while Autumn played w/ her dolls.  Then I put her in bed and left at 9:00 to go watch The Bachelor.

IMG_3751 We were going to watch it at Karri’s b/c Christine had a meeting, but she got done early so we changed plans and met at Christine’s.  We had some extra visitors tonight, which was a lot of fun.  Lynn came (Karri & I visit teach her) and then Sis. Mannewitz stayed (she was already there watching Christine’s kids while she was gone to the meeting).

IMG_3752 We had a ton of treats and Jordan even ordered 2 pizzas b/c he had just come from working out and was hungry and wanted to share.  I got to spend most of the night holding Baby Avery once he fell asleep, which was pure heaven to have a good smelling baby asleep on my chest.  I knew Brad was going to get rid of Ashley and was shocked at the end when he said he was going to send her home and she was surprised!  Their whole last date was completely awkward and she even said they were off of their game, so why was she surprised when he sent her home?  I bet he’s going to pick Emily b/c he kind of broke the rules and told her he’s falling in love with her.  But I think Emily is too good for him and deserves better and she could be the next Bachelorette.  Anyways, it was a fun night and I’m so happy our little group is growing.  What are we going to do in 2 weeks after it’s over?  We’ll have to find something else to get together to watch.
