Today after work/school we had Panda Express & Chipotle for dinner b/c Mom had been out running errands and didn’t want to cook. We ate and then watched recorded episodes of Modern Family. I love that show and can’t wait for the new season to start. When it was time to go, Autumn told Papa to give her a kiss on the cheek and then she wiped it off. She started giggling non-stop and told Papa that he couldn’t make the kisses stick. It’s a game they play where he has to kiss her and lightly pound the kisses on w/ his fist. That’s what he was doing here even though it looks like he’s using a wrestling move on her.
I hope someday when Autumn looks back at my blog books I have printed off and when she looks at all the pictures I have taken that she will remember and know how loved she is. It has been so hard to not have a husband/father in our home for the last 4 years, but my Dad had done more than an exceptional job of being an incredible father figure/role model in her life. We are both so blessed to have him and the rest of my family so close. Just like the “kisses that stick”, I hope that the love we share as a family will always stick with her throughout her life.

I stumbled across your blog about a year ago and I just loved your family dynamics, so I kept reading. :) I hope I don't sound like a scary stalker (hehe), but it's time for me to speak up and let you know how much I enjoy reading about you and your daughter and family. So much fun. :) You sound like just the sort of person I'd love to be friends with in "real life". :) Take care!
