This morning Autumn & I had cereal for breakfast, watched Joel Osteen, and then got ready for church. Her 2 front teeth are super loose, and I keep teasing her that she looks like Nanny McPhee w/ her snaggle tooth. I tried to get a profile view to show how much it’s sticking out, but this was the best I could get.
She wanted me to get a picture of her spinning around in her pretty polka dot dress. Church today was good, and our Laurel class went to Relief Society today so they can start getting used to being there and then it won’t be such a strange transition once they graduate from high school.
After church we had our Laurel class presidency meeting, and only 2 girls came! But, we got a lot done in just an hour. As soon as that was over, Autumn & I rushed home so we could change clothes and then we went over to Mom & Dad’s to eat dinner. Mom made Sis. Jones’s chicken and it was super good.
When Dad got home from work, we had him try to wiggle Autumn’s tooth to see if it was loose enough to come out. This is the only good picture I got out of 10, b/c the other 9 are of her screaming and crying and pulling away b/c she thought he was going to yank it out. Such a drama queen!
I threw some brownies in the oven and when they were done, Autumn & I went to do “Drive bys.” That’s where once a quarter Sis. Lee & I go to the Laurel’s homes and they come out to the car and we just chat w/ them about personal progress and how they are doing. I will NEVER take Autumn again b/c she got bored after 5 minutes and kept interrupting and wanting to get out and play. But despite that, I still had a good chat w/ 2 of the girls and they were happy I brought them brownies.
We were going to have our home teachers come over at 6:00, but we were still out doing drive bys. So, I called and told them we wouldn’t be home and we rescheduled for Tuesday. I was going to go to stake fireside about parenting at 7:00, but Autumn wanted me to stay home and spend time w/ her. It was such a crazy and non-stop day, so I stayed home and we watched Once Upon A Time & had a pizza picnic on the floor in the living room.
She wanted to wrestle before bed time, so we were rough housing and laughing and playing. All of a sudden she let out a little yell and said that her tooth came out! It was hard to get a good picture of her missing tooth, and this iPhone pic is the best one I could get. It looks like it was bloody, but it really wasn’t at all. She was so excited and put her tooth in our tooth fairy doll and went to bed so she could wake up and see what the tooth fairy brought her.
