Would You Stick Your Hand Up A Witch’s Nose For Some Candy?

Tonight while we were eating dinner, Curt called and asked if we wanted a free fake Christmas tree.  I guess Mary got a bunch of them from work and they had more than they needed.  So, we went over to their house to check it out.  It’s a nice tree that’s a lot fuller than our little ghetto one from WalMart.  So, we took them up on the offer and got a free Christmas tree.  While we were out in their garage checking it out, Autumn kept wanting to know what this creepy green thing was.  Mary used it at the church trunk-or-treat and the kids had to stick their hand up the witch’s nose to get candy and Mary had homemade gack up in there to make it feel like snot.  LOL!  I told Autumn to go stick her hand up the witch’s nose, but she wouldn’t go anywhere near it.

After we got our tree, we went back to Mom & Dad’s house to watch the newest episode of Big Bang Theory.  After every episode, there is a little blurb thing that I’m assuming Chuck Lorre writes.  We like to pause it and read what it says.  Sometimes it’s dumb, but tonight’s was actually funny.

I also wanted to mention that today was Autumn’s 100th day of school celebration.  I asked her if her friends and teacher liked the 100 pieces of washi tape poster board that she took, and she said yes.

Also, Mom was set apart today as an ordinance worker in the Dallas temple!  I am SO THRILLED for her & just know she’ll do great.  She’ll be working Thursday mornings.
