Project Life Tuesday ~ Week 12

IMG_9193  Monday ~ I love to get Subway sandwiches for lunch b/c it’s only $5 and I try to make it last for 2 meals.  I always get a foot long, Italian herbs & cheese bread, black forest ham, American cheese, toasted, spinach, cucumbers, bell peppers, olives, salt & pepper, and sweet onion dressing.  It’s so good!  Subway…eat fresh!
(I just cut out a 4x6 piece from the paper they wrap the sandwiches in).

Tuesday ~ Autumn & I were on our own tonight for dinner & I’ve been hearing for years about how amazing a local pizza place is.  So, we finally tried it.  It was good, but so small for $7.  We were on our way home & Autumn needed to go potty, so we stopped at Whataburger.  We were both hungry still, so we got hamburgers to wash down our pizza! LOL!
(For some reason when I printed my pic at a WalMart kiosk b/c I was in a pinch last night, it printed this one pic w/ a white border at the top and bottom of the pic.  I’ll have it reprinted in my next batch of pics).

Wednesday ~ Today after school, Autumn got picked up by Ben’s family & they went w/ some other kids from church to a museum.  Deb said they had a great time & got all sorts of dirty.  I’m so glad & thankful that they asked Autumn to come.  She felt so special b/c she got to go home w/ a friend instead of to daycare.

Thursday ~ Today I went to lunch at Market Street to get my favorite lunch food there.  On the way back to the office, I noticed some gorgeous blossoms on a tree in a neighborhood.  I had to stop & get a pic even though a dog inside the house started barking like crazy.  Spring & all the new life & beauty makes me so happy.

03.22 Friday ~ I had to get my nails done tonight, b/c it had been over a month since I had them done!  So, Mom booked me an appt for tonight while she was getting hers done earlier.  She got Autumn from daycare for me & after they had dinner, she brought Autumn to me at the nail salon.  Lily did Autumn’s nails while mine were finishing up!
(For some reason, I didn’t print off the collage I made for this, so that’s why I included it here.  I’ll just print it w/ my next batch of pics).

Saturday ~ I spent ALL day today at the Single Adult Regional Conference.  The talks were good, the food was great, and the workshops were so fabulous.  I wasn’t going to stay for the dance b/c I wanted to see Autumn, but the girls I was there w/ talked me into staying.  It was a lot of fun, I’m glad I went, and that Mom & Dad were able to watch Autumn for me.

Sunday ~ As soon as the clock hit 11:00 tonight, I switched over to HSN to see the 2 new Project Life editions.  It was crazy how many had been sold before it even hit the air.  I had to get a Blush & Jade edition.  It’s so great that the word about Project Life is getting out there & there are so many great kit options.

IMG_9131 Here is what I did last week when I got my Blush & Jade editions from HSN.  I always like to lay out all the cards, put them in order, and then put them in the plastic sheets in my book.  There were 20 title cards, which is double the usual amount in past editions.  There were also 50 double sided journaling cards, which is more than past editions.  I had a LOT of options!

IMG_9139 Sorry these aren’t the greatest pictures b/c I took them at night w/ a flash (against photography rules, I know), but oh well.  I laid out how I wanted my title cards, and then found journaling cards to go w/ them.  That way I have the same 7 journaling cards for a week.

IMG_9146 Here are all my cards laid out for the Jade edition.  Again, not the greatest picture, but you get the idea.  I now have 2 albums completely filled in w/ cards and ready to go.  I didn’t use the 20 Design D (vertical pics) that came w/ the kits.  I had some Design A that I used in place of the 20 Design D.  I might use the Design D once I see what pics I want to use for a spread, but for now they’re all Design A.

I am linked up over at The Mom Creative.

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY, Y’ALL!!!

Your post left me really hungry for some reason. Sandwiches, pizza and burgers :) All those PL kits make me want to switch back to traditional scrapping but the OCD neat freak in me won't allow it (and the mess it makes in my house - lol).

My boys are so into Subway right now. My oldest can't get enough. So cool you were able to get the kits you wanted from HSN. I want that case of journaling pens!
