Project Life Tuesday ~ Week 35

 Monday ~ Autumn was so excited to start 1st Grade today.  I think it’s mostly b/c I let her wear these hot pink sequin wedge tennis shoes.  I asked her if she wanted me to just drop her off or walk her in.  I’m glad she said she wanted me to walk her in.

Tuesday ~ While Nate & Riannon are here waiting to go to Spain, Nate has been going & helping a recruiter guy.  That way this time doesn’t count against his time off.  One day he went to a football game & handed out Air Force stuff.

Wednesday ~ Autumn had a MAJOR MELTDOWN & had to skip cheer practice tonight.  She laid down and was fast asleep in 2 minutes flat.  For Young Women’s tonight we all brought a little something to put in a gift basket that we dropped off to 2 different women in the ward who are going through some major health issues.

Thursday ~ When Autumn & I were leaving Mom & Dad’s house tonight, we saw a snake in the middle of the road.  I called the house & Nate came out & caught it (and he was barefoot)!  The snake bit him in the hand twice.  It was weird yet cool at the same time to have it wrap its tail around my arm.

Friday ~ What a great way to start my Labor Day weekend…by laboring in the temple.  I did initiatories & then went to the 7:00 session w/ Maureen & her Mom.  Tyler & Emily (my cousin & his wife) were in the same session as well.  That was a fun & unexpected surprise.

Saturday ~ We got family pics this morning (see below) & then it was time for Autumn’s first cheer game.  It was only 105 degrees today!!!  Karri & Kylie came to see her cheer, which meant so much to us!  Autumn had her very own cheer section cheering for her.

Sunday ~ Autumn & I went to church at Mom & Dad’s ward so we could all be together.  Mom even got up & bore a powerful & touching testimony.  We had rouladin for dinner & then we had homemade banana cream pie for the 3 September birthday people.

I used a Flip Flap for the Saturday spot so I could include more pictures of Autumn’s first cheer game.

For our professional (JC Penny) pictures, I used a Becky Higgins 5x7 vertical & horizontal page protectors.

Autumn had to do an “I” project for school, which was just things about her that she wanted to share w/ her class.  If you look closely in the bottom right hand corner, you can see where she used a Project Life card.  I love it that Project Life can be used for different things, and this card fit the assignment perfectly!
