I was sitting in Sunday School today when one of the ladies in Primary came & got me and said that Autumn’s eye was really red and she said it hurt and kept rubbing it. They were afraid it was pink eye, and didn’t want it spread to any of the other kids. I totally understand their concern, but she doesn’t have pink eye. It’s just irritated from yesterday when she got something in it. But, to appease them I had her come w/ me to Young Women’s. She was such a good girl and sat there and listened to the lesson.
After church we came home and had a pizza picnic & watched Charlotte’s Web. It was in the $5 bin at WalMart yesterday, but I thought I was buying the animated version that I used to watch as a kid. Nope…it was the one w/ Dakota Fanning & Julia Roberts & Oprah. Oh, well … it was still cute. Our home teachers came over at 2:30 & then we went visiting teaching at 3:15 & 4:00. Autumn had fun at the 4:00 appointment b/c Donna’s granddaughter was visiting and she’s Autumn age so they had fun playing while Donna & I visited.
We went over to Papa & Mimi’s house to let Emma out since they are in Austin visiting Lexie & her family. We had some lunch and then watched this week’s episode of Downton Abbey. I had to get a picture of these two things the Dowager said.
I love her witty one-liners! She had quite a few good one-liners later on in this episode, too. She cracks me up.
Since Autumn was so good today while we were out visiting teaching, I told her she had earned enough points to watch Once Upon A Time (she loves that show). When we got home, there was a treat waiting for us on the porch! Someone (we know who) had Booed us!!! Autumn loved it and thought that was so much fun. Now we’ll get to make a plate of goodies and have some fun taking them around and booing some of our neighbors.
