Brownies & Bonding

We've had some cooler weather lately and it was awesome to see the sun rays breaking through the dark clouds this afternoon.

I felt inspired last week that I need to get to know the younger Young Women better. I know the older ones well, b/c I teach them in class and we have our activities together. But I don't get to interact w/ the younger girls very often. So, I started something called "Brownies & Bonding." 2 at a time to sign up to come over to my house one night during the week to make brownies and just talk. At church we're so busy with lessons and activities that we rarely get a chance to just sit and visit. Tonight was the first one & it went GREAT! It was so much fun to have Danielle & Halie come over. They are fun & silly & awesome. We talked, made brownies, and then they wanted to go outside and hit the volleyball around while we waited for the brownies to bake.

Autumn was such a good helper and helped to keep Olivia entertained. We were watching Olivia for a little bit while Nate & Riannon went to a meeting. It was a fun evening, and I'm hoping all of the Brownie & Bonding get togethers go this well.
