Since we didn't have anything going on tonight, we went to Petco to get Autumn a new hamster. She was so sad when Humphrey died on Saturday. We checked out the different types of hamsters they had, and we ended up getting TWO Roborovski hamsters. They are really small and REALLY FAST!!! The reason we bought 2 instead of just 1 is that the sign under them at Petco said "social: best kept with other Roborovskis of the same sex." Autumn & I thought it was kind of funny that they sent them home w/ us in this little "to go" box.
We got them all set up in their new home and were mesmerized watching them. They're ADORABLE and their noses look like mice. One is calmer, and one is more hyper. It's interesting that their little personalities are already showing through so quickly. Autumn named the calm one Humphrey Jr & the hyper one is named Turbo.
