The journaling cards that I used for this week were ones that have prompts for Who, What, Where & When.
Monday ~ Who: Melanie, Mary, Karri, Christine & I
What: All 5 of us were finally together again to watch The Bachelor. We had a lot to catch up on b/c I missed last week. Poor Mary was so tired!
Where: In Christine’s game room upstairs at her house
When: Until 1:30 am!!!
Tuesday ~ Who: Me (age 33) & Autumn (age 6) taking the picture
What: Autumn said that my hair looked good today & that my shirt & my earrings were pretty, so she wanted to take a picture of me w/ my iPhone. (I got my pictures printed at WalMart and for some reason this picture printed a lot darker than it really was. I’ll have to reprint it at home to get the right brightness & color).
Where: In our kitchen
When: After work & before bedtime
Wednesday ~ Who: Bobbie & Me
What: We needed to get out of the office b/c we’re both stressed to the max. I ran into my bishop from church and was thankful I had nothing to hide or be ashamed of. It’s so great to live a life of integrity.
Where: Tin Star
When: Lunchtime on Wednesday
Thursday ~ Who: Bobbie’s Mom
What: Fresh produce & price matching. Bobbie’s Mom does price match shopping at WalMart, so Mom & I gave her a list & we got all of this for only $34!!! I love fresh fruit & veggies. (I wrote the prices on the back of the journaling card, b/c I think that will be so neat to look back at years from now to see how much prices have changed).
Where: Mom & Dad’s kitchen
When: Thursday after work
Friday ~ Who: Autumn, Kenzie & Me
What: Mom & Autumn were both having a bad day today & Mom stayed home, so Kenzie & Autumn & I went to see the Wizard of Oz. Rachel (who goes to our church and played Dorothy) was PHENOMENAL!!!
Where: The local High School
When: Friday night, 7:30 pm
Saturday ~ For this day, I had a LOT to write about, so I used one of the big journaling cards. I don’t want to go into a lot of detail here, but Autumn & I had a great morning, HORRIBLE afternoon, and then I went out that even w/ the girls to celebrate Melanie’s birthday. You can click on the link for Saturday to read more about it if you want.
Sunday ~ Who: Autumn Michele Kemble, 6 years old
What: Autumn wrote all of this out w/ just a little help on the spelling of a few words. She has such pretty penmanship & has made great strides in reading & writing
Where: At Papa & Mimi’s on a dry erase board
When: Sunday, February 10th
The reason I included a close up of this journaling card is so you can see how it gave prompts for the who, what, where & when. It was fun to use these cards and mix it up from the usual journaling. The only thing I would change is to make the printed part a little darker. It’s so hard to see the light pink printing on the pale pink card, even in real life. You have to look at it super close to even see it.
I also have an 8.5x11 insert this week. I opened up the program from the Wizard Of Oz and used some washi tape to put our tickets on the left hand side of the program.
I am linked up over at The Mom Creative.
THANKS FOR STOPPING BY Y’ALL!!!

I love that you noted the current prices of produce! I really like the idea of interspersing "normal" memory-keeping "stuff", like photos, with more non-traditional memories, just like you did here! And I have to say -- produce is so cheap where you are! The cheapest I can find oranges for are $0.33 a pop. And blueberries for $1.29?! Yeah, right! LOL.
That is a great idea bout the food prices, and they are so cheap where you are! Love all your details! Great layout!
Love the photo of you and the reason it was taken. :o)
Such a good idea to record the prices of produce!!
