Project Life Tuesday ~ Week 11

IMG_9038 Monday ~ Aunt Jeri made these adorable pink slippers for Autumn & they fit so perfectly, even though Aunt Jeri didn’t know how big Autumn’s feet are.  Autumn wouldn’t take them off & wore her shoes over them on the way home tonight.

Tuesday ~ My present from Mom & Dad’s trip to Utah combines 2 of my favorite things…puzzles & Polynesians!  Only in Utah could you find a Polynesian Cultural Center puzzle at WalMart.  I love it & can’t wait to put it together.

Wednesday ~ I’m not Catholic, but wanted to document that a new Pope was elected today.  Another new thing today was that I discovered this INCREDIBLE smelling perfume & lotion.  It’s called “Body” by Victoria’s Secret & it’s my new signature scent.  (I just realized as I was typing this that it was not thinking when I paired a picture of the Pope w/ something from Victoria’s Secret!  LOL!!!)
I included my receipt & this promotional card they gave out in the journaling pocket.

Thursday ~ The kids were restless tonight & wanted something to do, so I got out the stamp sets & let them create a story they could share w/ us.  Poor Jackson wanted in on the fun too, but Lexie helped him color on some paper instead b/c he’s too young.

Friday ~ Autumn didn’t have daycare today & it’s Spring Break, so she spent the day w/ Papa & Mimi.  Dad went & got a truck load of compost & the grandkids helped him put it onto the raised garden boxes.  They also got the vegetables planted.  They loved being outside & getting to help Papa.

Saturday ~ Tonight when we got back from the farm, Dad decided to make some dutch oven cobbler.  I chased the kids around the fort while we waited for it to cook.  I love that we have so many pics of Autumn & Andrew together on the backyard steps.

Sunday ~ While we were taking Easter pics this morning, we had to include Emma in the fun since she’s part of the family.  The bunny ears were too big for her head, so we put them on her body!  She looks like a cute little fairy dog.  LOL!

IMG_9043 Today we got up & had breakfast & then drove out to Aunt Sandy & Uncle Robert’s farm.  Aunt Sandy had the yummiest Shepherd’s pie in a dutch oven all ready for lunch when we got there  We ate & then sat around & talked, which was so nice.  The weather couldn’t have been better.  After the kids ran around & explored for a while, we had Uncle Robert take them on a tractor ride so we could hide the Easter eggs.  The kids had fun finding eggs & I’m glad we have a picture of them together every Easter.  That will be fun to look back on each year.  We spent about 2 hours fishing & caught a LOT of fish.  I haven’t had so much relaxing fun in a long time!  We LOVE the farm.

IMG_9045 Lexie asked me if I would take picture of her family this morning w/ them all dressed up in their nice Easter clothes.  It was cloudy, which made for some great pictures.  I love this one of the 3 grandkids all together.  They have such bright & sparkly eyes.  Mom got this precious dress for Autumn at Costco!  We even painted her nails this morning.  Mom wanted a picture of Papa & the grandkids together (she wasn’t in any of the pics b/c she wasn’t cleaned up for the day yet).  Jackson LOVES Papa’s beard & kept playing w/ it.  So cute!  Lexie & I were representing St. Patrick’s Day & Easter w/ our accessories & Papa photo bombed us!  LOL!  I love my little Autumn girl & am so glad we get to create such fun memories all together.

I am linked up over at The Mom Creative.

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY Y’ALL!!!

What cute slippers! Love the dog in bunny ears too. My dog would never go for that. A farm is such a perfect place for an egg hunt. Looks like a good time.
