Project Life Tuesday ~ Week 17

Monday ~ So funny!  Tonight at 11:30 pm Autumn came out of her room, walked into the kitchen, got a cup off the counter & went over to the pantry.  She put her cup under the light switch, flipped it a few times, looked in the pantry, & couldn’t figure out why there was no water coming out!  She thought she was at the fridge door!  LOL.  I guess she’s a sleep walker.

I used this vertical insert from We R Memory Keepers that I bought at Target.  I know that one pic is horizontal, but I don’t care.  Stuff like that doesn’t bother me, b/c I don’t have time to worry about it.  All that matters to me is that the memories are captured, not what way the orientation is.

Tuesday ~ Tonight after dinner we had to run to WalMart for groceries.  We stopped for a quick photo shoot b/c it was cloudy & I’ve always wanted to get pics on these abandoned train tracks.  Autumn looked to cute w/ her long curly locks.  It was 45* so we ran back to the car to warm up.

Wednesday ~ Autumn asked me if I would make her a special treat after dinner.  I thought she wanted ice cream, but she wanted “the good pink milk.”  I loved strawberry milk as a kid, but we used to use the Nesquick powder.  This new way w/ the strawberry syrup tasted just as good.

Thursday ~ A few months ago Lori came over & she smelled SO GOOD!  I love “smellies” and so I asked her what it was.  She said Martinique by Tommy Bahama.  I waited until it went on sale at Amazon.com & bought it.  It’s my new favorite & I love the iridescent bottle & tropical print print box.

Friday (same as Thursday’s link) ~ It’s youth conference this weekend, so I went to the opening event & Sis. Dowd did such a great job on her talk.  Then for the dance portion I did coat check w/ Sis. Jones.  I also worked on my lesson for Sunday & reviewed my talk for sacrament meeting on Faith in Jesus Christ & His Atonement.

Saturday ~ I had to be at the high school track early this morning so we could organize ourselves into groups & go out to paint fire hydrants around the city.  It ended up being a great service project.  Mom & Dad took Autumn to Aunt Sandy’s birthday party/lunch in Ft. worth & texted me this adorable butterfly pic of her.

Sunday ~ I love to get bluebonnet pics each year & it was cloudy and windy today, so Autumn & I went to our usual spot.  There were hardly any bluebonnets compared to last year.  We got some great pics until the sun came out & hurt Autumn’s eyes.  She was tired and went into FULL-MELT-DOWN-MODE.  Just keepin’ it real.

Can I just say how much I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Becky’s 8x10 horizontal photo page protector?  It makes such a huge impact as an insert in the middle of a weekly spread.
