I used one of the new JAC photo overlays on one of my pics this week. You can’t really tell in the picture of the whole page at the top of this post, so I wanted to zoom in on this pic. It just makes this picture so much snazzier! I’m a BIG fan of the clear photo overlays.
I had to include an insert w/ a few funny things that Autumn brought home this week. “I want to have a baby (in the house) because so people can love me a lot and that is why I want a new baby so I can have fun.” I think with Lexie & Riannon both being pregnant and having them around a lot, she’s wanting us to have a new baby at our house, too.
She brought this home from church and it made me laugh! On the left are things she could thank Heavenly Father for in her prayers and on the right are things she wants to ask Him for!
This week has been FULL of fun Project Life products. I got my photo overlays & my Just Add Color (JAC) kits delivered the day they were on HSN. YAY for being able to order products early on HSN.com. Here are what all of the 2x2 cards look like laid out together on the color side. As you can see, there are a LOT of fun patterns & colors to work with. I didn’t have enough room on my counter to spread out all the 4x4 and 4x6 cards.
Someone had posted on a Project Life Facebook page that WalMart was selling these We R Memory Keeper journal card packs for just $6.29!!! The price has drooped, b/c mine were $8.68 when I bought them back on 9/12. Each pack has 75 4x6 cards (five each of fifteen designs) & 200 3x4 cards (eight each of twenty-five designs). So, that wouldn’t be enough 3x4 cards to complete a full 365 day album, but for $6.29 it would totally be worth buying a 2nd set. Plus then you’d have a ton of left over 4x6 and 3x4 cards to use for other things like cards or notes.
They have 4 different editions available: Memo, Bloom, Tangerine & Webster. If you have them shipped site-to-store, there’s no shipping costs! I’ve posted some pics below so you can see what the cards look like to decide if you want to get some or not. Sorry for the horrible lighting, but it was nighttime and I only had room to spread them out on my kitchen counter.
Here are what the cards in the Memo kit look like. So retro and fun w/ the old school TV and viewfinder circles.
This is the Bloom kit, and it has a lot of bright pinks and grays and mustard colors.
The designs remind me a lot of the Project Life Olive edition.
This is the Tangerine kit, and is a really good gender neutral kit.
The orange & blue colors go so well together.
All of the cards are nice & thick like other Project Life kits are. The only thing I don’t really care for are how many 4x6 vertical cards there are & how many 3x4 horizontal cards there are. I only use the Becky Higgins Design A & C page protectors, so those cards wouldn’t work w/ the orientation of those page protectors. But I can definitely use them for other projects.
I don’t have any pics of the Webster kit to show you, b/c when I placed the order I didn’t realize that it had changed my normal store to one in downtown Dallas (which is about a 45 minute drive). Luckily, I noticed it before I placed the order. I changed the first one and assumed it changed all of them, but it didn’t. So, I had to go to 2 different stores to pick them up and the Webster kit hasn’t come in yet at the other store. So, make sure each individual item is shipping to the correct store!!!
I am linked up over at The Mom Creative.
THANKS FOR STOPPING BY Y’ALL!!!
