Project Life Tuesday ~ Week 37

Monday ~ Mannewitz’s invited us & Curt & Mary & Jessie over for Family Home Evening.  We had a good lesson & then had a huge spread of food.  We played “Headbandz” & had so much fun!  Mom & Karri & I went and saw “The Ultimate Life” movie.  It had a cute message, but the acting was pretty bad & cheesy at times.

Tuesday ~ Today at work we got a shipment & I was the only one there.  I went to get the shipment w/ the forklift & it got stuck!  The concrete under it just crumbled!!!  My boss had to pull it out w/ a heavy chain & his huge truck.  Whoops!

Wednesday ~ Today is the anniversary of 9/11.  Such a sad day!  I saw a quote on Facebook that said, “Honor those we lost on 9/11 by being the people we were on 9/12.”  It was Young Women In Excellence tonight & the theme was sharing the treasures we’ve unlocked w/in ourselves this year.  The decorations were too cute!

Thursday ~ I had to scarf down some dinner & then go back to Autumn’s school for curriculum night.  When Nick got home from work, we were both hungry so I decided to make some pigs in a blanket.  Usually I have to what the roll container on the counter for it to pop open.  Not tonight … that thing EXPLODED & hurt my finger & scared the snot out of me!  Nick laughed so hard & I (eventually) did too.

Friday ~ HAPPY 58th BIRTHDAY, PAPA!!!
It was Rock N Roll Day at school & Autumn was SO HAPPY that she got to wear make up.  She said she was dressed up like Selena Gomez.  We had homemade banana cream pie for Papa’s birthday dessert & sang to him.  We love him so incredibly much!!!  Riannon wanted Mom to color her hair & there was enough left over to do mine, too.  It came out really dark instead of the medium brown it was supposed to be.

Saturday ~ I went to the 7:30 session at the temple & then went over to Papa & Mimi’s so we could spend time w/ Nate & Riannon before they left for the airport.  Autumn had cheer pictures & then a football game.  We went back to Papa & Mimi’s to swim & cool off.  Then we brought Emma home w/ us b/c the Taylors are staying at Mom & Dad’s house.  Emma HATES the car & pants like crazy.  Look how long her tongue is!!!

Sunday ~ It was so weird not to go over to Mom & Dad’s house today like we usually do after church.  We had a hankerin’ for brownies after we ate lunch, so we made these.  Then I had a hankerin’ to smell my favorite candle.  So good!!! We had such a relaxing day & watched the Cowboys game, I took a nap, Autumn played Barbies, & then I painted her toenails.  Tonight I went to a Bishop’s Youth Discussion & it was really good.
