Project Life Tuesday ~ Week 41

Monday ~ This is sad to admit, but this is the first time Autumn & I have been to the library together.  We borrowed Mom’s library card & went exploring.  Autumn got a few Fancy Nancy books & I got 2 Austenland books b/c I liked the movie & wanted to see how the books compared.  I hope Autumn will develop a love of reading like I have.

Tuesday ~ I am not having very good luck w/ my car lately.  Maybe it’s b/c it just went over 60,000 miles.  Tonight when Autumn & I went to leave, it smelled like smoke!  So, we turned around and found some coolant in Mom & Dad’s garage & filled up the radiator reserve tank.  That seemed to fix it.  WOO HOO!

Wednesday ~ Tonight it was Autumn’s parent/teacher conference and her teacher said Autumn is doing well but needs to be better at listening & following directions.  Tonight around 10:30 Autumn woke up coughing really bad & threw up clear phlegm on the carpet.  It freaked her out & she became hysterical.  Poor thing!  Cleaning it up is for sure not my favorite thing to do. YUCK!

Thursday ~ Tonight after work I went straight to the temple to help w/ the youth temple trip.  It is always such a neat experience to be in the temple w/ these incredible youth.  I love getting to serve them while they are serving others.  Afterwards, Ashley & I went to Chick Fil A to get shakes & it took them 20 minutes to get the shakes to us! UGH!

Friday ~ Jon & the boys dropped Lexie off at my work & at 5:00 Lexie & I headed to Arlington for Time Out For Women.  We got to hear from John Bytheway & Sheri Dew!!!  Then we went to WalMart across the street from the Death Star to get some things.  Mom surprised us w/ a hotel near the conference center!!!  Lexie’s shoes were literally falling apart, so we’ll have to go buy her some new ones tomorrow.

Saturday ~ Today at TOFW was so good & spiritually uplifting!  I am glad we got to help w/ the food pantry service project they had going on during lunchtime.  I got a picture w/ Laurel Christensen, which was so neat b/c I have been following her blog for years.  The best of all, though was getting to spend time w/ Lexie.  We’ve decided to make this an annual thing.

Sunday ~ Autumn & I had a pizza picnic on the floor for lunch today.  After that I made pumpkin bars & fudge for the Single Adult fireside tonight.  I love wearing aprons & have quite the collection of them.  We went over to Mom & Dad’s house to use their internet to watch Downton Abbey & then I went to the SA fireside.

I had 2 inserts this week.  One is this cute story Autumn brought home & the notes from her teacher during our parent/teacher conference on the back.  The 2nd insert is my ticket & program & other papers (like parking pay stubs) from the TOFW event.
