Project Life Tuesday ~ Week 19

Here’s Week 19:

Monday ~ Mom went to visit Lexie’s family and to help her out b/c Andrew has the chicken pox.  So, Dad made fried zucchini for dinner.  What makes it even better is that it was zucchini fresh out of the garden.

Tuesday ~ Karri and I got to go help Dad at the church w/ Scout physicals.  We took their weight, blood pressure, and pulse.  It was fun to spend time talking w/ Karri b/c we weren’t very busy.

Wednesday ~ Mom got home from Austin and brought back the 2 hermit crabs (Peter & Parker) that they had given to Andrew.  The crabs are nocturnal and Andrew didn’t like not being able to see them move around during the day.

Thursday ~ I decided it’s time for Autumn to take on more responsibility.  So, she now clears the table and then tonight I taught her how to load the dishwasher for the first time.
***If you click on the links, you will notice that the link for Wednesday & Thursday are the same.  I used to be super anal about having a picture for each day.  However, I have since relaxed the “rules” a little bit for myself and if a picture doesn’t occur on that exact date, that’s OK.  In 20 years from now it won’t matter at all if a pic I took on one day gets put in another day.  All that will matter is that our lives were documented.***

Friday ~ It was “Muffins With Mom” at Autumn’s “college”, and we had fun eating breakfast together.

Saturday ~ We got to Skype w/ Nate b/c he called to wish Mom a Happy Mother’s Day.  Technology is so amazing and I’m glad we got to not only talk to him but also see him.

Sunday ~ Dad always gets Mom an orchid corsage for Mother’s Day, and has also got me one too for the past 5 years.  He had to work so we took him some lunch at the clinic.

I also included an 8.5x11 insert this week.  Autumn made this for me at “college”.  On the back is our program from church on Sunday.  They asked all the Primary kids (age 3-11) things about their mother’s.  I couldn’t figure out how to pixelate or distort the names of the other kids, so I’m not including a pic of it.  But, they asked Autumn, “What do you like to do with your Mom,” and she said, “I like to do flips with her.”  I had a couple people stop me in the hall and ask what types of flips I do.  LOL!
