Monday ~ This pic represents Autumn’s childhood. I love that it shows her cute pink car seat, her pink heart coat that she wears everyday, & wisps of her bangs that we’re trying to grow out. She always wants to play a game on my phone called “Lep’s World 2.” It’s like Super Mario, but w/ a leprechaun. I love it that she’s also got her Fancy Nancy doll on her lap.
Tuesday ~ Liz & Liberty are renting out their house, so Autumn & I went over there tonight to help them clean. Liz had us wipe down the baseboards, doors, and door frames w/ water to get off any dust or dirt. Once they were dry, she came behind us and put a fresh coat of paint. It was fun to work alongside Autumn & see what a good little worker she is.
Wednesday ~ Tonight for Young Women’s they told us to bring our Chia person (or a picture of it) for the contest. I won the award for “snazziest” and was the only one that brought the real thing. I think the Hawaiian hair clip completes the whole Hula girl look. The Laurels & Priests left after opening exercises and we went to someone’s home where we had super yummy desserts that the Priests served to the Laurels so they could practice manners & proper etiquette. It was a fun activity.
Thursday ~ The missionaries came over for dinner tonight & Mom made some super good fajitas. Mom & I were cleaning up the kitchen when Autumn said to Papa, “You can’t get my neck meat!” Autumn & I play that game every night before she goes to sleep. I nuzzle down in her neck and it makes her laugh. Papa & Mimi had fun rough housing w/ Autumn, and she was loving all the attention. She has no idea how spoiled and lucky she is!
Friday ~ There’s a saying that if you don’t like the weather in Texas, just wait a few hours b/c it will change. That was so true in the past few days. We had temps in the low 80’s a few days ago and today we woke up to 39 degrees! Mom is so awesome and took this picture of the nightly news for me since I can’t pause live TV and she knew I would want it for my Project Life book. It’s the coldest May temperature ever recorded in the last 110 years!!!
Saturday ~ Autumn & I got up this morning & went out to the baseball stadium for an event called “Kids Teaching Kids.” It was basically culinary students from a bunch of local area high schools & they had made healthy snacks for the kids to try and then vote on which was their favorite. They also had games & physical activities set up on the field. After all that fun, we went across the street to IKEA for lunch.
Sunday ~ After church today Autumn was in such a snuggly mood & I LOVE it! She wanted to lay on Papa & Mimi’s bed and watch Pocahontas II & eat chips. I’m soaking this up while I can, b/c I’ll blink and she’ll be a teenager & too busy & too cool to snuggle w/ me. I love the glimpse of the yellow pillowcase & bedspread that Mom made along w/ my scrub top & duvet cover. Such talent!
I am linked up over at The Mom Creative.
Also, my Week 17 Project Life spread will be featured on Michelle Bostinelos’ blog on Saturday!
THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY Y’ALL!!!
