Project Life Tuesday ~ Week 36

IMG_6815 This week was a good snapshot of various activities mixed in w/ everyday things.  That’s one of the many things I love and appreciate about Project Life.  I can capture the big things and the small things all in one place.

Monday ~ I was off for Labor Day today!  Woo hoo!  We had a shrimp boil at Mom & Dad’s, and then went swimming.  Dad & I put Emma on a boogie board and she was shaking like a leaf.  Mom was so mad at us, but Emma did great and didn’t even fall off.  When Autumn & I got home home we made some chocolate chip cookies to give to her teacher tomorrow.  I also had Autumn write this note to go w/ the cookies that said, “I am going to be one smart cookie with you as my teacher.”  It was a great and relaxing day.

Tuesday ~ Tonight after dinner I was doing a puzzle & I heard Autumn & Aunt Jeri talking and laughing in the back room.  I went to see what fun I was missing out on, and found Autumn sitting on the bed learning how to knit from Aunt Jeri.  It was such a precious and priceless moment, so I ran and got my camera so I could document it.  Pictures like this just warm my heart.

Wednesday ~Since Aunt Jeri’s been here, we’ve been doing a bunch of puzzles.  This one was a booger & we finally got it done tonight.  We love doing puzzles b/c it’s fun to have something to do, yet we can also visit and talk with each other while we work.

Thursday ~ Tonight after dinner I went to Autumn’s Kindergarten Curriculum Night.  When I got back to Mom & Dad’s, she was asleep upside down on the footrest of the couch and was fast asleep.  She has been coming home so exhausted every night and will usually take a nap after dinner.  Bless her cute little (worn out) heart!

Friday ~ Mary got the 4th book in the Tiger’s Curse series and I stayed up way too late the past few nights reading it.  It’s really good and I hope they make it into a movie.

Saturday ~ Autumn & I spent the whole morning going through every single item of clothing she had.  Clothes that were too small went into a big plastic bin.  We organized all of her other clothes, and I had her put together 5 outfits for next week.  That way she’s not scrambling in the morning trying to find something to wear.  I’m proud of her for sticking with a tough task like cleaning out a closet, and doing a great job.  I can tell she already feels better having a nice organized closet.

Sunday ~ I had quite a few good pics that I could have used from today, but instead I decided to take a picture of this book and include it.  This is a book that was given to us when Autumn was little, and we’ve had it in her church bag for years.  She likes to have me read it to her while the sacrament is being passed.  Before Project Life, I never would have thought to take a picture of it.  But it’s such an integral part of our Sundays, and I know it will be so fun to look back on this picture in years from now and remember how Autumn would climb up on my lap and have me read this to her.

I am linked up over at The Mom Creative.

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY Y’ALL!!!

Great layout! What a wonderful idea to include a picture of the book. It's so important to remember the little things.
